Chair legs

Here is the beautiful silk chair that Catherine upholstered for me, with it's new legs.



 I made the cabriole legs, then took a section of the design in the chair to incorporate into the leg carving.

    These legs are absolutely perfect for the design of the chair pattern. This is exactly what I hoped to see. I LOVE them! It really changes the character of the chair too.

    I can't help but come back to look again. You forgot to say those legs are just 3/4 of an inch. Which it amazing. I still can't imagine cutting that shape so small and doing it perfectly twice.

    Linda, your chair legs are exquisite and your design is such a perfect foil to the fabric. (Though I would stick with the story that the LEGS came FIRST) LOL!

    The fabric is lovely and it just wouldn't occur to me to adapt the legs to suit - what a marvellous idea, how personal and how skilled!
