This little 1:12 scale Yorkie is hand carved hand painted wood, but! I furred him :)
My first venture into the crazy world of dollhouse miniature animals with real fur.
I had alot of fun taking woodcarving one step further. He has the usual carved eyes, toes and paw pads.
And his little pink belly skin!
And here he is before his fur:
Well, he's obviously a "her" but my model was a sweet little neighbor dog who is a boy!
I've listed this little dog on EBAY
He's adorable!
ReplyDeleteBye, Faby

What a cute little face!!!
ReplyDeleteShe/he's so cute, Linda! I love him/her!
ReplyDeleteShe is adorable! You did a beautiful job, not only carving it but adding all the fur. I love it when those dogs aren't groomed to perfection. The scruffy look is so much cuter.
ReplyDeleteYour Yorkie is super cute. The carving must have taken a long time. Thanks for sharing. IndyPoppy
ReplyDeleteHe's gorgeous Linda....there's no end to your talents! :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty.
ReplyDeleteLinda,
ReplyDeleteYour talent really is endless. He is so realistic! All I can say is Bravo!
Big hug,

ReplyDeleteWow! I am so impressed with how detailed he is, right down to his tiny paws.
ReplyDeletewow, I'm amazed Linda, again by what you've managed to 'produce' to put it not so elegantly :) And for a first try, unbelievable!
ReplyDeleteHe (or she) is just perfect, what a great job, looks so real and much better with fur.
ReplyDeletecreo que has hecho un gran trabajo , tanto con la talla , como con el pelo, realmente es precioso
