My precious little Miracle Chicken in miniature!
1:12 scale, hand carved wood, painted then feathered.
She is the first bird I ever made. For a special display at the Chicago International.
She was a feather footed Buff Brahma. Here you can see her feathered feet.
Thanks for looking :)
It is amazingly realistic. You cannot tell it is not a real living bird in the pictures.
Awww thank you :) She really looked just like this but I am photographically challenged AKA my pictures suck!Delete
She looks so sweet with her little wings, like she's fluttering and wanting to talk to you.ReplyDelete
Thanks for commenting! She is flapping and running in this pose. It is for a scene at the Chicago show, but to me, this is how we looked when she would run after a grasshopper and I would take off after her, ever the mother hen I was.Delete
So awesome, so much personality. :DReplyDelete
Thank you so much :)Delete
Thank you :) I am so proud, not of the work but that she is my little girl, I hatched her :)Delete
She's a tiny miracle! The feather-work and coloring are PERFECT!ReplyDelete
Thank you Elizabeth :) What a sweet comment. My little Miracle ---Delete
Just Gorgeous... love her little leg feathers. :)ReplyDelete
Thanks! When she was first hatched and still wet, she had these little hairs that would later turn into feathers :)Delete
